Mammography Technologist | Burlington, North Carolina

Looking for an experienced professional in mammography to deliver quality care in a dynamic setting. The ideal candidate will provide both screening and diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient comfort while maintaining high quality standards in a busy environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (M) certification
• BLS certification
• 3–5 years of recent experience as a mammographer
• Proven ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Skilled in operating modern mammography equipment
• Ability to critique images for quality and accuracy
• Proficient in PACS and EMR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
• Exceptional patient care and communication abilities
• Capability to adapt to a fast-paced workflow and independently manage tasks
• Comfortable seeing 17–25 screening patients per day
• Willingness to provide coverage across multiple locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mammography and related diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
• Assess image quality, repeat images when necessary, and ensure patient safety throughout each procedure
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed records using PACS and EMR systems
• Deliver compassionate care, answering patient questions and guiding them through exams
• Work efficiently and professionally within established protocols to manage high patient volumes
• Adapt quickly to changing schedules or locations as operational needs arise

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
