Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in radiologic technology with mammography specialization
• Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Comprehensive knowledge of imaging protocols and safety standards
• Ability to position patients effectively for diagnostic images
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital mammography equipment and perform screening and diagnostic exams according to physician orders
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and necessary documentation before and after procedures
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the imaging process
• Effectively address patient questions and concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for accurate image interpretation and timely workflow
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and report technical malfunctions as needed
