Mammography Technologist in Clifton, NJ

Exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in Imaging – Mammography. This contract position spans 13 weeks and will immerse you in a dynamic environment where your skills as a Mammo Tech will make a meaningful difference.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Thursday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Jersey Radiology License required
• Current ARRT (M) certification in Mammography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience as a Mammo Tech in a clinical setting
• Professional, compassionate approach with a commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to efficiently manage an average of 20 scans per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each scan
• Accurately document and maintain imaging records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver timely, precise diagnostic images
• Provide clear instructions and emotional support to patients during procedures
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions promptly
• Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
