Mammography Technologist | Cranston, Rhode Island

A skilled Mammography Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract role in a dynamic healthcare setting, utilizing state-of-the-art Hologic equipment. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule with four 10-hour day shifts—Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—allowing for extended weekends with no required call or weekend shifts.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Day shift only
• No call or weekend duties

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(M) certification in Mammography
• Active Rhode Island state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience operating Hologic mammography machines strongly preferred

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Strong attention to detail with image quality and patient safety
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care to all patients
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mammographic procedures following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times during imaging exams
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Hologic imaging equipment as needed
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results
