Travel Mammography Tech in Elizabeth, NJ

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating weekends every couple of months
• No holidays or on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Mammography (or equivalent state license)
• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience
• Experience working in breast centers preferred
• Proficiency in performing mammography exams to ACR standards
• Strong understanding of quality control and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills to address diverse patient populations

Key Duties:

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic exams across adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Assist with breast ultrasound, localization, stereotactic biopsy, and related radiologic procedures
• Manage image processing and ensure precise patient identification/film marking
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting patient education including BSE instruction
• Meticulously document procedures adhering to ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA requirements
• Maintain thorough statistics on biopsies, follow-up exams, and quality control results
• Support quality control procedures, documenting and analyzing results as delegated
