Mammography Technologist | Elkhart, Indiana

A skilled technologist is needed to provide high-quality mammography imaging for a 13-week contract assignment. This position supports the radiology department in delivering vital diagnostic imaging services and prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Total: 38 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Current and valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) credentials needed
• Demonstrated experience in mammography, including proficiency in positioning, safety protocols, and image quality assurance
• Strong interpersonal skills to ensure compassionate patient care and communication
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced imaging environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammographic exams as prescribed, strictly adhering to safety and quality standards
• Prepare and position patients with care and precision to obtain optimal imaging
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures following regulatory policies
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical personnel to ensure timely and effective diagnostic evaluations
• Uphold infection control and equipment maintenance protocols for patient and staff safety
• Provide clear explanations and support to patients throughout the imaging process

$2,009 - $2,125/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
