Mammography Technologist | Galt, California

Make a difference by bringing your expertise in mammography to a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled professional for a 13-week assignment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(M) certification required
• Current MRT license
• Valid BLS certification
• Prior experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precision and compassion
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Review patient history and imaging requisitions to determine appropriate imaging techniques
• Operate mammography equipment, adjusting settings to obtain optimal image quality
• Accurately document procedure details, maintain imaging records, and uphold regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate prompt exam interpretation
• Provide clear instructions and answer patient questions regarding the procedure
