Mammography Technologist | Greensboro, North Carolina

Exciting opportunity for an experienced mammography technologist to make a significant impact in women's imaging care. Work on a contract basis and utilize your expertise while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (M) certification
• Current BLS certification
• 3–5 years’ experience as a mammographer in both screening and diagnostic settings
• Proven proficiency with mammography equipment and high-volume patient environments (17–25 screenings daily)
• Experience critiquing images for accuracy and quality
• Skilled in the use of PACS and EMR systems; preference for candidates familiar with EPIC software
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and across multiple locations
• Capacity to prioritize workflow and maintain a high standard of care under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document and review patient information in EMR systems
• Ensure all images meet quality and regulatory standards prior to submission
• Provide compassionate support to patients, clearly explaining procedures and addressing questions
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely service delivery
• Adapt to dynamic clinical schedules and provide coverage at various locations as needed
• Maintain equipment and follow safety and infection control guidelines

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
