Position Overview

We're seeking skilled and dependable Mammography Technologists to join our team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidates are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care while performing accurate and efficient mammography procedures.

Technologists with experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography are highly preferred. Candidates with experience in only one area may also be considered, with training available to expand their skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures accurately and safely.
• Position and prepare patients while ensuring comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Operate mammography equipment according to department protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging standards.
• Review images for technical quality and repeat images when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with additional breast imaging procedures and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of Mammography experience.
• Current and appropriate Mammography certification and credentials.
• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and radiation safety.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Screening Mammography
• Diagnostic Mammography
• Breast Ultrasound experience highly desirable

Training Available

Candidates who have experience in either screening or diagnostic mammography but not both may be considered. Training is available for qualified technologists looking to expand their skill set.
