Take the next step in your imaging career by supporting women’s health as a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week engagement. This contract position involves advanced digital mammography, utilizing Holgic equipment in a dynamic clinical setting dedicated to high-quality patient care. Your expertise will assist in early detection and diagnostic processes, making a direct impact in the community.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm
  • Possible rotating Saturday shifts (with an alternate weekday off)

Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT (M) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Oregon state licensure required before start (candidates may interview without current OR license)
  • Proficiency with Holgic mammography equipment strongly desired
  • Experience in mammography; ability to provide compassionate patient care during imaging procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform digital mammograms, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment efficiently and professionally
  • Document patient histories, exam information, and utilize Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Provide clear explanations and emotional support for patients throughout procedures
