Mammography Technologist | Gresham, Oregon

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment
• Monday through Friday
• Day shift, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• 5x8 hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Current, valid BLS certification
• Registered with ARRT (Mammography)
• Active Oregon state license
• Recent experience in mammography/imaging technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and team members
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to best practices and patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of mammographic exams, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort
• Operate advanced mammography imaging equipment and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Carefully follow physician instructions and document all procedures in medical records
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure a seamless care experience
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff
