Travel Mammography Technologist - Hackensack, New Jersey

This assignment provides professional growth through collaboration with dedicated colleagues and exposure to a range of advanced imaging procedures and protocols.

Schedule:

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating weekends (every couple of months)
• No holidays, no on-call requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in mammography and radiologic technology
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mammography required
• Experience in a breast center or similar setting preferred
• Familiarity with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations for mammography
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography exams per ACR requirements across diverse patient populations
• Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, localizations, and related procedures
• Ensure precise patient and film identification, maintain accurate documentation and quality standards
• Participate in quality control and assurance, including image processing and equipment checks
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures
• Accurately maintain patient charts and assist with statistics tracking and reporting
