Mammography Technologist - Hialeah, Florida

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled technologist specializing in mammography, supporting high-quality patient care on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in imaging—particularly mammography—with responsibilities focused on delivering accurate diagnostic studies in a reputable healthcare setting.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Facility hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
• 13-week contract, with the possibility for extension

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must not be residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Completion of an accredited college program (college diploma or transcripts required)
• FL State license as a General Radiographer
• ARRT certification
• Documentation of an Initial Mammography Course featuring at least 40 hours of training
• 15 breast-related CME credits earned within the past 36 months
• Demonstrated experience: number of mammograms performed in the past 24 months OR reinstatement documentation showing 25 supervised cases in accordance with MQSA standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography studies with attention to patient comfort and accuracy
• Properly maintain and utilize imaging equipment
• Adhere to all established protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance measures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records
• Actively participate in ongoing education and compliance training as necessary
