Mammography Technologist - Hollywood, FL

Seeking an experienced professional skilled in mammography for an immediate opportunity in a hospital imaging department. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment, ideal for those with a background as a Mammo Tech and a passion for patient-focused care. The work environment emphasizes collaboration and technical precision in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Current certification with ARRT (M) in Mammography
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to adapt to new settings and work with diverse patient populations

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammographic imaging exams according to established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately document procedures and maintain records in compliance with departmental standards
• Operate and care for imaging equipment, reporting maintenance or safety issues as needed
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Follow all regulatory and accreditation requirements
