Travel Mammographer | Jersey City, New Jersey

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 5x8 hour shifts, 13-week duration
• Rotating weekends (every couple months)
• No holidays, no on-call

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mammography
• Experience in a breast center setting preferred
• ARRT (M) certification required
• Proficient in diagnostic and screening mammographic procedures

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography examinations in accordance with ACR requirements
• Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and other image-guided procedures
• Ensure all films and records are accurately identified and documented
• Participate in all aspects of quality control and assurance
• Educate patients on procedures and aftercare, tailoring communication to individual needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (ACR, MQSA, NJ State, FDA)
• Contribute to data tracking, statistics, and ongoing operations as needed
