Working as an Imaging Specialist in Mammography presents exceptional opportunities for professional growth, allowing you to collaborate with skilled teams, observe innovative workflows, and build your resume with advanced procedures in a high-demand specialty. Schedule:

• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 5x8 hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating every other weekend (every couple of months)
• No holidays or on-call required

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography technologist experience
• Skilled in diagnostic and screening mammography for adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA requirements
• Competence in assisting with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsies, localizations, and related procedures
• Strong communication skills to meet diverse patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams and assist with ultrasound-guided procedures
• Support patient education, including BSE instruction and pre/post procedure guidance
• Execute quality control testing and document compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and assist in compiling procedure-related statistics
• Prepare, process, and label films with meticulous attention to detail
• Work collaboratively within the Breast Center’s multidisciplinary team
