Mammography Technologist in Johnson City, NY

There are two available positions for experienced Mammography Technologists, covering standard weekday shifts, and both require a background in mammography and current ARRT (R)(M) credentials.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in mammography required
• Active ARRT (R)(M) certification
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging procedures and patient positioning
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to provide quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Accurately assess image quality and follow established protocols
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing questions or concerns
• Document all imaging, technical data, and observations accurately in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with the radiology team and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Assist with equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks as needed
