Key Qualifications:
- Prior, hands-on experience in mammography procedures
- Active ARRT (R)(M) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of mammographic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Ability to follow established guidelines and maintain excellent image quality
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and workflow
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of mammography studies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and patient comfort
- Adjust imaging equipment and select appropriate technical factors for each exam
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to provide timely imaging results
- Maintain detailed patient records and comply with regulatory requirements
- Educate and reassure patients throughout their procedures
- Adhere to best practices in radiation safety and infection control
