Mammography Technologist in Knox, IN

Step into an impactful role focused on providing essential mammography imaging support within a collaborative healthcare environment. This 13-week assignment offers a set schedule and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated radiology team using advanced imaging technologies.

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 38 hours per week
• No weekends, no on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification in Mammography (M) and Radiography (R)
• Current BLS certification
• Proven experience as a Mammo Tech in an imaging department
• Excellent technical proficiency in digital mammography equipment and protocols
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort, safety, and privacy throughout exams
• Maintain thorough, accurate patient documentation and imaging records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
• Ensure quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance at all times
• Provide clear information and compassionate support to patients regarding mammography procedures
