Mammography Technologist in Lakeport, CA

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a supportive clinical environment as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment. This position is ideal for a skilled professional with a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour day shifts

Key Qualifications:

• ARRT(M) certification is required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in mammography
• Proficiency in mammography imaging procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams
• Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammographic images following all approved protocols
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams
• Accurately document patient information and maintain exam records
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently, adjusting techniques as needed for best image quality
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of all equipment and exam rooms
• Assist in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
