Schedule:

• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (M) Mammography registration
• Active Kansas state license in radiologic technology
• Demonstrated experience as a Mammography Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform breast imaging procedures—including spot compression and magnification views—as prescribed by physicians
• Operate mammography equipment and related radiographic devices with technical proficiency and safety
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process
• Maintain complete and accurate records for MQSA, FDA, and ACR compliance, including sending timely reports and letters
• Evaluate image quality, obtain additional views as needed, and ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Chart and document procedures, billing charges, and supply usage within the Meditech EMR system
• Conduct preventive maintenance and quality control on all imaging equipment
• Support ongoing accreditation efforts by maintaining required documentation and participating in departmental quality assurance activities
• Assist with next-day scheduling: retrieve, prepare, and mark prior exams for radiologist review, and verify orders
• Engage with the broader imaging department by performing Radiology Technologist duties when mammography workload allows
