Deliver essential breast imaging services as a skilled professional specializing in mammography. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic care in a supportive clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • 5 x 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • No call, weekends, or holidays

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT(M) registration
  • KS State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Experience as a Mammography Technologist/Mammo Tech
  • Proficiency operating Meditech electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mammography procedures as directed by physicians
  • Operate mammography and related radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Perform a range of breast imaging, including spot compression and magnifications
  • Clearly explain all procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and perform additional imaging as needed
  • Maintain and document patient communications as required by MQSA/FDA/ACR standards
  • Accurately chart procedures and supplies in the billing system
  • Perform and monitor quality control protocols for equipment and imaging processes
  • Participate in quality assurance and data collection efforts, including maintaining records for ACR and FDA accreditation
  • Prepare next-day mammography schedules, retrieve prior exams, organize reports, and assist radiologists with comparisons
  • Provide support as a Radiology Technologist when not scheduled for mammography procedures
  • Assist with the maintenance and compilation of statistical data such as biopsy and surgical reports

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
