Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (M) certification required
  • Valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state
  • Previous experience in mammography/imaging settings (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, mammographic positioning, and latest imaging technology
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammographic exams accurately and efficiently, following established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient identification, education, and comfort throughout each procedure
  • Accurately position patients and operate digital mammography equipment
  • Review images for clarity and proper documentation before submitting to radiologists for interpretation
  • Maintain technical competency and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
  • Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and nurses to optimize workflow and quality of care
  • Respect and protect patient confidentiality at all times
