Qualifications:
- Current certification in mammography (ARRT M preferred)
- Valid radiologic technologist license
- Proven background working as a Mammo Tech
- Comprehensive understanding of mammography protocols, safety standards, and image quality requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients compassionately
- Ability to work independently, manage workflow, and collaborate with the radiology team
Responsibilities:
- Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and best practices
- Support patients throughout the procedure, explain processes, and address concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Ensure image accuracy, proper positioning, and documentation in the PACS/EMR system
- Maintain equipment, perform quality checks, and adhere to infection control protocols
- Follow all state and federal guidelines related to radiation safety and confidentiality
- Work efficiently and safely within a collaborative healthcare environment

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
