Qualifications:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Proven experience operating mammography imaging equipment
  • Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
  • Ability to adapt to workflow changes and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic exams in accordance with physician orders
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining process and addressing questions or concerns
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic health record
  • Monitor image quality and collaborate with radiologists for optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and reporting malfunctions as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment and uphold confidentiality at all times

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
