Schedule:

  • Five 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Mammography credential [ARRT(M)]
  • Active Kansas state radiology license
  • Demonstrated competence as a Mammography Technologist
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to offer comfort and instruction to patients
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic procedures
  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning for exams, and maintaining patient comfort and dignity
  • Accurately capture, process, and assess images, ensuring clarity and compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical team to support timely diagnosis and follow-up
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements, maintaining comprehensive records
  • Foster a welcoming and reassuring environment for patients during their visit
