Mammography Technologist - Meriden, Connecticut

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts a week are also an option for those seeking flexible scheduling

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification in Mammography
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a mammography technologist (additional experience preferred)
• Proficient with Hologic mammography equipment (highly valued)
• Strong understanding of diagnostic procedures in mammography
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic mammography exams using Hologic equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams to provide prompt, precise imaging
• Maintain patient records and follow departmental protocols
• Monitor equipment functionality and arrange for service if needed
• Adhere strictly to all privacy, safety, and infection control guidelines
