An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging department in a dynamic clinical environment serving Miami Beach. This role is structured as a 13-week contract with the potential for extension and offers an engaging schedule that allows work-life balance.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Facility hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must not be a current resident of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
  • Valid FL State License as a General Radiographer
  • Active ARRT certification
  • Completion of an initial Mammography Course (minimum 40 hours training)
  • At least 15 breast-related continuing medical education (CME) credits in the last 36 months
  • Documented list of mammography procedures performed in the last 24 months, or proof of reinstatement with documentation of 25 supervised cases (per MQSA)
  • College diploma or academic transcripts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality and patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for mammography procedures while ensuring comfort and confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
  • Ensure safety standards are upheld throughout all imaging processes
