An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging department in a dynamic clinical environment serving Miami Beach. This role is structured as a 13-week contract with the potential for extension and offers an engaging schedule that allows work-life balance.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Facility hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Essential Qualifications:
- Must not be a current resident of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
- Valid FL State License as a General Radiographer
- Active ARRT certification
- Completion of an initial Mammography Course (minimum 40 hours training)
- At least 15 breast-related continuing medical education (CME) credits in the last 36 months
- Documented list of mammography procedures performed in the last 24 months, or proof of reinstatement with documentation of 25 supervised cases (per MQSA)
- College diploma or academic transcripts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality and patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammographic imaging in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for mammography procedures while ensuring comfort and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
- Ensure safety standards are upheld throughout all imaging processes
