Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in Mammography
• Valid state licensure (as applicable)
• Hands-on experience operating mammography equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered focus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflow standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately position patients and calibrate mammography equipment for optimal imaging results
• Review and verify patient information, document findings, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report major concerns promptly
