Mammography Technologist - Oregon City, OR

Bring your expertise in mammography to a setting dedicated to exceptional patient care. This contract assignment offers a dynamic opportunity to work with advanced Holgic equipment in a supportive diagnostic imaging team. The focus is on providing high-quality mammographic images, ensuring patient comfort, and adhering to strict clinical protocols.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10:00am – 6:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Possible rotating Saturday shifts with a weekday off

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT[M]) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Oregon state licensure required (but interviews may be conducted prior to active licensing)
• Experience operating Holgic mammography equipment is strongly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and patient-centered communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, explaining procedures to alleviate any concerns and ensure safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required by facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere to policies regarding radiation safety, infection control, and confidentiality
• Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team for timely and precise diagnostic reporting
• Uphold a professional, compassionate environment at all times
