Mammography Technologist in Palmdale, CA

An outstanding opportunity is available for a skilled professional in Mammography to excel within a busy imaging team. This contract position offers exposure to advanced screening and diagnostic techniques in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation
• Shifts between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (hours may vary with department needs)
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Current California Mammography license and CRT (M) required
• ARRT credentials highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), including wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Float to various imaging departments within the main campus as operational needs demand
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Ensure exceptional patient care, safety, and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
