Step into an essential role supporting patient care in a dynamic mammography department, where your skills and attention to detail will make a direct impact. As a valued imaging professional, you’ll perform a range of advanced mammographic procedures and collaborate with a dedicated team committed to clinical excellence.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday shifts, with Saturday rotation as needed
- Shifts range between 7:30am–6:00pm (hours may vary depending on department needs)
- Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (07:30–18:00)
- Floating to various departments within the main campus as required
- No on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Current Mammography Technologist license in California (CRT M) – required
- BLS certification – required
- ARRT certification – highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of direct mammography experience required
- Comprehensive experience in screening and diagnostic mammography, wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
- Adaptability to float between different imaging departments as needed
- Experience with both 2D and 3D mammography preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammographic procedures, including routine screenings, diagnostics, and specialized localizations
- Provide patient care with professionalism, compassion, and sensitivity, ensuring safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and patient interactions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient patient flow and high caseloads (approximately 150 per day)
- Uphold best practices in infection control, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
