Travel Mammography in Paterson, NJ

As a Traveling Mammography Technologist, you’ll work in a respected Breast Center Institute, deepening your expertise by collaborating with experienced clinicians and engaging with advanced diagnostic technology.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Five 8-hour shifts weekly
• Rotating weekend coverage every couple of months
• No holidays, no call coverage
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Proficient in performing mammographic imaging following ACR requirements
• Experience assisting with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and radiologic-guided procedures
• Knowledge of quality control and compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA regulations

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and screening mammography for a range of patients
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, stereotactic biopsies, and breast localizations
• Manage imaging procedures, film identification, and patient documentation with precision
• Support BSE instruction and patient education before and after procedures
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance and control documentation
• Modify care based on individual patient needs, engaging effectively with patients and caregivers
• Collaborate on statistics compilation and case preparation
