Mammography Technologist - Portland, OR

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Day shift: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Qualifications:

• ARRT(M) certification (Mammography) is required
• BLS certification required
• Current Oregon license (candidates may interview without it but must obtain prior to starting)
• Prior experience as a Mammo Tech, with strong knowledge of mammography imaging procedures
• Comfort and proficiency working with Holgic equipment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns, providing a positive and calming environment
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and quality imaging outcomes
• Help manage imaging workflow and maintain cleanliness and readiness of the imaging suite
