Mammography Technologist | Portland, Oregon

Join an established imaging department as a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract. This essential position plays a vital role in women's health by providing high-quality mammographic imaging to support early detection and care. The assignment offers a consistent day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6:30 pm, allowing for work-life balance and routine.

Qualifications:

• ARRT(M) certification in Mammography is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current
• Oregon state license required prior to start (can proceed to interview before obtaining)
• Proficient operation of Hologic mammography equipment strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Mammo Tech in a clinical setting is highly valued
• Detail-oriented with excellent patient care and communication skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift: 10 am – 6:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations using digital Hologic equipment following physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, maintaining a compassionate and professional manner
• Accurately track and document patient data and exam details in the electronic medical record system
• Adhere to regulatory standards and uphold departmental quality assurance initiatives
• Maintain equipment and imaging rooms for cleanliness and proper function
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff for optimal patient care

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
