Take your expertise in mammography to the next level in a dynamic imaging department utilizing advanced Hologic technology. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment where you’ll play an integral part in providing high-quality patient care alongside a skilled clinical team.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour day shifts
- Workdays: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- No call requirements or weekend shifts
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT(M) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience operating Hologic mammography equipment is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to imaging protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform digital mammography exams following established protocols and safety standards
- Operate Hologic equipment efficiently, ensuring accurate image capture and patient comfort
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and fostering a supportive environment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless diagnostic workflows
- Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to compliance and quality assurance protocols, supporting a culture of continuous improvement
