Mammography Technologist | Providence, Rhode Island

Take your expertise in mammography to the next level in a dynamic imaging department utilizing advanced Hologic technology. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment where you’ll play an integral part in providing high-quality patient care alongside a skilled clinical team.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts
• Workdays: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• No call requirements or weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT(M) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience operating Hologic mammography equipment is strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform digital mammography exams following established protocols and safety standards
• Operate Hologic equipment efficiently, ensuring accurate image capture and patient comfort
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and fostering a supportive environment
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless diagnostic workflows
• Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
• Adhere to compliance and quality assurance protocols, supporting a culture of continuous improvement
