Qualifications:

  • ARRT (M) certification required
  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist, with familiarity in operating and maintaining mammography equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of radiologic procedures, positioning, and patient safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging findings as required
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure clear, high-quality images for interpretation
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety measures and infection control policies
  • Educate patients regarding procedures and answer any questions to provide a positive experience
  • Participate in regular equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks
