Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Mammography (ARRT Mammography or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Proficiency in operating digital mammography systems and imaging software
• In-depth understanding of radiology safety protocols and imaging best practices
• Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with patients
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammographic imaging studies following physician protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment calibration for optimal images
• Review and process images for quality and clarity before submitting to radiologists
• Maintain accurate records and uphold all regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Assist radiologists and physicians with additional imaging tasks as needed
