Mammography Technologist in Reidsville, NC

Take the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment performing state-of-the-art mammography services. This contract position requires expertise in imaging and mammography, offering a consistent weekday schedule with full-time hours.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience

• Active ARRT (M) certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a mammographer
• Proficiency with both screening and diagnostic mammography
• Experience operating mammography equipment and critiquing images
• Hands-on knowledge of PACS and EMR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently, prioritizing tasks, and providing coverage at multiple locations
• Capable of managing a daily workload of 17–25 screening patients

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality mammographic imaging and ensure patient safety at all times
• Perform both screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Accurately critique images for diagnostic quality
• Document procedures and patient information thoroughly using PACS and EMR systems
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and clear instructions
• Adapt quickly to workflow changes and different facility protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, when required

$2,580 - $2,720/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
