Travel Mammography Technologist in Rochester, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment (13 weeks)
• Specific attendance policy: Maximum 1 unscheduled absence and 2 tardies throughout the contract, with immediate termination if exceeded (policy effective 10/15/2024)

Qualifications:

• Certification and experience in mammography and as a Mammo Tech
• Experience assisting with breast biopsy procedures, including needle localization, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms
• Strong proficiency in instructing and positioning patients for radiographs
• Detail-oriented with aptitude for manual data entry and documentation
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and equipment standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Support physicians in breast biopsy and related procedures to ensure optimal outcomes
• Properly position and instruct patients to produce diagnostic-quality mammograms
• Maintain work areas with vigilance for safety, cleanliness, and stock levels
• Enter patient and procedure data with accuracy to facilitate dictation and billing workflows
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure compliance and excellent patient care
