Required Qualifications & Experience

  • ARRT certification in Mammography (M)
  • Active and unrestricted state license as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum 1 year of recent, hands-on mammography experience
  • Proficiency with digital mammography systems and related technologies
  • Strong patient communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care
  • Familiarity with standard clinical protocols and quality assurance procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjust settings based on exam requirements, and capture high-quality images
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists to ensure accurate image interpretation
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of examinations and uphold all regulatory compliance standards
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report any maintenance or safety concerns
