Mammography Technologist | South Bend, Indiana

Step into a vital Imaging role focused on mammography and advanced diagnostic care. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and invites skilled imaging professionals to contribute their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 38 hours per week, with no weekend or on-call responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid ARRT (M) and (R) certifications
• Active BLS certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital mammography, including screening and diagnostic exams
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Experience with quality assurance standards in imaging
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography exams and procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients throughout the imaging process
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist in the upkeep of imaging equipment, reporting issues promptly to appropriate personnel
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations, infection control standards, and facility guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results
