Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
  • Demonstrated experience performing mammographic studies, including screening and diagnostic exams
  • Strong knowledge of mammography techniques, digital imaging, and quality assurance protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring comfort, privacy, and understanding of procedures
  • Operate digital mammography equipment to produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images
  • Adhere to established protocols for image capture, labeling, and data management
  • Assist radiologists by providing accurate patient history and technical input
  • Perform regular equipment checks and support quality assurance initiatives
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for each procedure
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide reassurance and emotional support to patients throughout the imaging process
