Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mammographic examinations according to physician instructions and established protocols
  • Operate digital mammography equipment safely and efficiently
  • Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Review and maintain patient records, ensuring all images and documentation are complete and accurate
  • Maintain strict quality control and safety standards, following all regulatory guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum patient outcomes
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and report issues for timely resolution
  • Provide support in related imaging procedures as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with advanced certification in mammography
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience as a mammography technologist
  • Proficient in the use and maintenance of digital mammography equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a dedication to delivering patient-centered care
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed imaging protocols
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and quality assurance standards in imaging services
