This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule—no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts, Days (Monday to Friday)

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(M) certification in Mammography
• Active Kansas radiologic technologist license
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with breast imaging procedures, including spot compression and magnification
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Commitment to maintaining continuing education and registration in mammography

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mammography exams as directed by physicians, ensuring diagnostic quality and patient safety
• Operate radiographic and mammography equipment, performing preventive maintenance and monitoring performance
• Communicate procedure details clearly to patients, providing reassurance and support throughout the process
• Ensure timely and accurate mailing and recording of essential patient notifications in compliance with MQSA, FDA, and ACR requirements
• Thoroughly document and maintain records required for accreditation and quality control
• Chart procedures and supplies within the hospital billing system
• Prepare for next day’s appointments by organizing prior exams and reports for radiologist review
• Participate in department-wide quality assurance initiatives and assist with statistical data compilation
• Support the imaging department by functioning as a Radiology Tech when mammography duties are not required
