Mammography Technologist - Wayne, New Jersey

Seeking a skilled mammography imaging professional to deliver high-quality diagnostic services within a clinical setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and imaging accuracy.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Thursday: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Radiology License
• Current ARRT(M) certification in Mammography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in mammography imaging techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Perform an average of 20 mammography scans per day with precision and care
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and clear communication
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment in compliance with manufacturer and facility protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff for optimal workflow and patient outcomes
• Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding imaging safety and health privacy standards
