Key qualifications & experience:
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography required
- 1-2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist (additional experience highly valued)
- Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding image quality standards
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Biopsy competency not required for this position
Schedule:
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Alternate option: Four 10-hour shifts per week available
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic mammograms and related imaging procedures with accuracy and care
- Review patient histories and answer patient questions, providing a reassuring and professional experience
- Operate and maintain Hologic mammography equipment, ensuring top-quality imaging results
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other team members to support excellent patient outcomes
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines throughout all imaging processes
- Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
