Mammography Technologist - West Hartford, Connecticut

Key qualifications & experience:

• Current ARRT certification in Mammography required
• 1-2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist (additional experience highly valued)
• Proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding image quality standards
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Biopsy competency not required for this position

Schedule:

• Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Alternate option: Four 10-hour shifts per week available

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic mammograms and related imaging procedures with accuracy and care
• Review patient histories and answer patient questions, providing a reassuring and professional experience
• Operate and maintain Hologic mammography equipment, ensuring top-quality imaging results
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines throughout all imaging processes
• Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
