Mammography Technologist | Whittier, California

Step into a pivotal role supporting women's health through advanced mammographic imaging in a leading healthcare environment. As a Mammography Technologist, you'll be part of a dedicated team providing both screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies in a dynamic main campus setting.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts
• Day shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on departmental needs)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• No on-call required
• Floating to various departments within the main campus as patient needs arise

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M)
• BLS certification
• At least two years of recent mammography experience
• ARRT credentials highly preferred
• Openness to float between departments
• Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography, including 3D imaging
• Approachable for first-time travelers; adaptable and collaborative approach welcomed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures including screening & diagnostic mammography (2D/3D)
• Complete specialized procedures such as wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Safely prepare and position patients, ensuring optimal image quality and patient care
• Support a daily caseload averaging approximately 150 patients, working efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and accurately document imaging studies
