Advance your imaging career in a dynamic mammography department supporting patient care and diagnostic excellence. This contract opportunity offers a collaborative environment where your expertise in screening and diagnostic mammography makes a meaningful difference.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as required
  • Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; hours may vary depending on department needs
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week
  • On-call not required
  • Floating to other departments within the main campus is anticipated

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M) credential required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification highly preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ mammography experience required
  • Open to first-time travelers—opportunities for both experienced professionals and those new to traveling roles

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, including both 2D and 3D imaging modalities
  • Execute wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies as part of the department’s procedural offerings
  • Provide patient care and support throughout imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the smooth, efficient workflow across radiology departments
  • Adapt to floating assignments as needed, helping to meet staffing needs throughout the main campus
