Schedule:
- 13-week duration
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
Required Qualifications:
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT(M) certification
- BLS certification
- MRT credentials
- Experience in mammography imaging, including proficiency in operating digital mammography equipment
- Strong attention to patient safety, privacy, and comfort
- Superior interpersonal communication skills for collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and patients
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography exams following established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with attention to comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
- Collaborate with radiologists and health care team members to address complex cases and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions, providing information and reassurance as needed
