Step into a key role supporting diagnostic imaging services as a Mammography Technologist in a contract position dedicated to high-quality patient care. Utilize your technical expertise and attention to detail in a well-equipped setting featuring all Hologic equipment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Day shifts only; no on-call or weekend coverage required
Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT(M) credential required
- Active Rhode Island state license in Radiologic Technology
- Previous experience as a Mammography Technologist or Mammo Tech preferred
- Proficiency in imaging and mammography equipment (Hologic systems experience strongly desired)
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, following best practices and safety protocols
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication before and during procedures
- Accurately operate Hologic mammography equipment, maintaining image quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and support patient diagnosis
- Adhere to facility policies, patient privacy regulations, and quality standards at all times
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely reporting and documentation
