Step into a key role supporting diagnostic imaging services as a Mammography Technologist in a contract position dedicated to high-quality patient care. Utilize your technical expertise and attention to detail in a well-equipped setting featuring all Hologic equipment.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Day shifts only; no on-call or weekend coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT(M) credential required
  • Active Rhode Island state license in Radiologic Technology
  • Previous experience as a Mammography Technologist or Mammo Tech preferred
  • Proficiency in imaging and mammography equipment (Hologic systems experience strongly desired)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, following best practices and safety protocols
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication before and during procedures
  • Accurately operate Hologic mammography equipment, maintaining image quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and support patient diagnosis
  • Adhere to facility policies, patient privacy regulations, and quality standards at all times
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely reporting and documentation
