MRI Technologist - Akron, OH

Step into an essential role performing advanced MRI imaging at a leading healthcare facility. We're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment, working with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient care.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts on evenings
• Rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT credential
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist, including working evening shifts and being part of on-call rotations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative radiology team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Prepare and position patients accurately for all MRI examinations
• Operate MRI equipment and peripheral devices according to manufacturer and facility protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
• Assist radiologists and other medical staff with diagnostic interpretation when required
• Participate in department quality assurance and safety initiatives
