Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), such as ARRT (MR) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Proficient in MRI safety protocols and patient positioning techniques
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety
  • Properly position patients and explain procedures to provide comfort and clarity
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize imaging results
  • Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, contrast usage, and patient information
  • Follow infection control, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance protocols
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with patient care as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional standards
