MRI Technician | Alexandria, Virginia

Schedule/Hours:

• Overnight shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00pm – 6:30am
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• ASAP start

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist
• Candidates can submit with a pending VA license; verification of license application or active participation in the temporary process is mandatory
• Experience working with Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T
• Familiarity with EPIC Radiology MT Online on Unit preferred
• Ability to wear required grey scrubs

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using advanced imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Accurately document all patient interactions and scan data in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain compliance with facility infection control and safety guidelines
• Stay current with required vaccinations, including annual flu shot during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); ensure any exemption processes follow CMS regulations
