Schedule:
- 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday
- 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program (ARRT certification preferred)
- Valid, current state license to practice as an MRI Tech (if required)
- At least one year of recent, relevant experience in MRI imaging
- Demonstrate proficiency with MRI equipment, imaging protocols, and patient positioning
- Ability to work effectively with patients, maintaining comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Strong communication skills and commitment to precise documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
- Operate MRI equipment and related computer systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and guide patients prior to and during the imaging process, ensuring safety and comfort
- Manage accurate patient records and maintain imaging documentation per facility guidelines
- Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate maintenance needs to appropriate personnel
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, infection control standards, and privacy laws
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to provide timely, effective diagnostic support
